Slipping Down

Put a solid understanding of forward slips in your toolbox, sure, but remember they’re more useful as a tweezer than a pipe wrench


The turning slip is a valuable resource when approaching an airport or field that is small or has obstructions at the approach end by helping increase descent and minimize float.
