The helicopter sustained substantial damage at 1215 Central time when it collided with the water while maneuvering over Lake Travis. The commercial pilot and the pilot-rated passenger were not injured. Visual conditions prevailed. The occupants told an investigator they were photographing boats on the lake when the "GOV" and "low rotor RPM" lights flickered.
