September 6, 2010, Caledonia, Mich., Cessna P210N Pressurized Centurion

The airplane sustained substantial damage at about 0845 Eastern time when it impacted terrain during a forced landing following an in-flight loss of engine power while maneuvering. A post-impact ground fire occurred. Visual conditions prevailed. Neither the flight instructor nor the commercial pilot receiving instruction were injured.
