The airplane was substantially damaged at 0741 Central time during a hard landing following an instrument approach at the end of a Part 135 flight. The commercial pilot was not injured. The airplane picked up light-to-moderate ice on approach and the pilot cycled the deicing boots once prior to the final approach fix. The airplane was established on the ILS approach to Runway 36 at 120 KIAS and configured for landing when it broke out of the weather about 250 feet agl.
