February 20, 2010, Nashville, Tenn., Piper PA-46-310P Malibu

At about 1850 Central time, the airplane experienced a total loss of engine power following an in-flight fire. The pilot successfully completed a forced landing at the Nashville International Airport. The commercial pilot and three passengers were not injured; the airplane received minor damage. Visual conditions prevailed.
