A new AC on in-flight icing consolidates and modernizes older publications.

The FAA changes its Advisory Circular regarding in-flight icing for the first time since 2007. The aim is to provide pilots reference guides and other resources for dealing with freezing conditions. The Secretary of Transportation is trying to require registration of all drones as early as Christmas Day. And the ADS-B receiver, adaptable to iPad, is quickly becoming a pilot essential.
