The airplane ground looped and nosed over at 1128 Pacific time during landing. The Airline Transport pilot sustained minor injuries; the airplane was substantially damaged. Visual conditions prevailed.

The pilot and a flight instructor had been performing touch-and-go takeoffs and landings and requested a full-stop landing. During the landing rollout the left wing tip impacted the runway. Shortly thereafter, the left main landing gear failed inboard resulting in the airplane nosing over.
