At about 1425 Pacific time, the airplane impacted terrain during a forced landing. The commercial pilot and his three passengers were not injured; the airplane sustained substantial damage. Visual conditions prevailed.

While en route, the pilot noticed the fuel quantity was getting lower than he was comfortable with, so he elected to divert. During the descent, the engine lost power, and he was unable to get it restarted. The airplane landed on rough terrain.
