The airplane collided with a vehicle at about 1500 Eastern time during takeoff. Visual conditions prevailed. The airplane was substantially damaged. The commercial pilot and lone passenger in the airplane were not injured; the two vehicle occupants were killed.

After becoming airborne, the pilot remained close to the runway and passed to the right of the Jeep, impacting it. He performed a 180-degree turn and landed uneventfully. Following the collision, the Jeep impacted trees. Preliminary examination of the Jeep revealed pieces of airplane fabric in its interior.
