The aircraft suffered a right main landing gear collapse upon landing at 0930 Pacific time. The commercial pilot and five passengers were not injured; the airplane sustained substantial damage. Visual conditions prevailed.

The pilot noted a landing gear malfunction upon departure and decided to return to the airport. He extended the gear but did not receive a down-and-locked indication. During the landing roll, the right main landing gear collapsed, resulting in substantial damage to the right elevator.
